Wedding Music and Live Bands in Positano
Positano is wonderfully scenic, with pastel houses, terraces and gardens built into the cliff. It is one of the Amalfi Coast’s most recognisable settings and a perfect place for live music.
It is such a special place and many venues are reached by steps. We check the access in advance, consider anything from a harp or double bass to a full band’s sound equipment, and recommend a line-up that fits the venue beautifully.
Music for a Positano Wedding
-
The ceremony. Usually outdoors, usually with the sea underneath it. A solo harpist, string quintet or soprano cuts through in a way amplified music doesn't need to.
-
Aperitivo and dinner. Terrace hour, as the light goes. An acoustic duo or jazz trio.
-
The evening. Once the sun is down, the terrace becomes the dance floor and this is where a party band or DJ-led act earns its place, within whatever the venue's sound limits allow.
Weddings in Positano: Villas, Terraces and Beach Clubs
Most weddings take place across more than one level in Positano- whether it be a ceremony at the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta or in a villa garden to drinks on a terrace above the sea and then dinner at another location.
We can work across the town's hotels, private villas and restaurant terraces such as Le Sirenuse, Il San Pietro di Positano, Villa TreVille, Palazzo Murat and Hotel Marincanto.
Every venue has its own power supply, its own access and its own rules on amplified music.
