Live Music for Weddings on the Amalfi Coast
Italy loves a party, but every council has its own rules and regulations about when the volume should stop. We check the rules directly with your venue and, where amplified music has a firm finish, plan a beautiful acoustic finale so the evening ends naturally.
August sunshine is glorious and so a shaded performance area keeps the musicians comfortable.
Towns We Work In
Each town on the coast makes its own demands, and we've written separately about the ones we work in most.
Beyond the Amalfi Coast, we perform in Sorrento, Capri, Ischia and the Sorrentine Peninsula, as well as farther afield across Europe, including the South of France and Spain.
Positano is vertical, terraced and breathtaking.
Ravello is situated high above the coast,
with a genuine classical music heritage.
Praiano is quiet, spacious and made for sunsets. Amalfi is historic, lively and close to the water.
Choosing Music for an Amalfi Coast Wedding
As the day unfolds:
The ceremony. Open air, sea views and music such as a solo harpist or string quintet.
Aperitivo and dinner. An acoustic duo or swing band sets the mood while conversation remains at the heart of the table.
After dark. The celebration begins with a DJ and party band carrying the night from first dance to final song.

Sound Limits, Terraces and Weather
Many councils along the coast limit amplified music outdoors, often with a cut-off in the early hours. Limits vary town by town and venue by venue, so we check directly with your venue rather than assume and where a hard limit applies, we plan an acoustic final song to close the evening. A really nice moment for all guests to unite and sing together.
Access: Terraced venues are reached by steps, and a harp or a full PA has to be carried up.
Heat and weather: Instruments don't love direct summer sun and a shaded performance area is essential.
Our Acts on the Amalfi Coast
Every act travels the coast. Which suits your day depends on the venue and the moment.

-
Switch It Up - eight-piece party band for venues with room for a stage.
-
Electric Rose - all-female band with DJ, for the late-night stretch.

Working With Italian Venues and Planners
Founder Marina Simioni is British and Italian by heritage and moves fluently between both cultures and both languages. She liaises directly with venues, planners and suppliers in their own language, so briefs don't get lost between a couple from the USA and a venue in Ravello.
For wedding planners, that means one point of contact who handles the music from start to finish and reports back in English.
Plan Your Amalfi Coast Wedding Music
Tell us your venue, date, approximate guest numbers and how the day will unfold - from ceremony and aperitivo to dinner and dancing. Share any timings, musical preferences, must-play songs or venue restrictions you already know, and we’ll recommend the line-ups that suit each moment and confirm availability.
